How will my premium be collected? Your premium is collected each month by direct debit.
When does my insurance cover commence? Your laptop/pda is covered from the date of the confirmation letter our customer care team sent to you subject to you having paid the monthly premium by direct debit or credit card.
Am I able to benefit from this insurance if I live outside the UK? Regretfully, the coverage is only available to those people who are permanently resident in the UK. If you reside in any other country such as the United States, we regret that we are not able to provide insurance. In you are a UK permanent resident, you are covered for up to 30 days world-wide cover in any one year.
What am I covered for? This policy covers you for Loss, Theft and Accidental Damage (including water damage)
Why shouldn’t I cover this under my household insurance? You have a dedicated insurance policy especially for laptops/pdas ensuring rapid replacement or repair of your laptop/pda once your claim has been accepted. Household policies often have a much higher excess and a claim for your laptop/pda will more than likely affect your no claims bonus.
How do I obtain a claim form? You should either contact us using the claim line number which is detailed on your policy document or you can telephone our Customer Care Centre on 0870 444 7002
How long is my claim likely to take? All paperwork is processed in our office on the same day as it is received. If you are expecting a replacement item, please allow 3 working days. For repairs, please allow 10 working days.
