According to statistics, last year there were 1.3 million mobile phones stolen in Great Britain. That means that mobile phone theft now accounts for nearly a third of all robberies reported to the police. 1.3 million mobile phone thefts a year! That is one every 24 seconds making mobile phone theft Britain's fastest growing offence. Frustrating and costly, bearing in mind that few items we routinely carry cost more to replace than a mobile phone.

Equally, you may believe that the likelihood of damaging your phone is minimal. However, the majority of claims received actually relate to either external or internal phone damage, where the phone has been dropped or knocked and the cost of repair can easily be as high as the cost of a replacement, colour screen alone can cost £200.

Your Citymain administered policy provides you with immediate cover and no 'tie in'. This means that you can keep your policy in place for as long as you need it and our dedicated claims line will ensure you recieve a quick and efficient turnaround of repair or replacement. Why should I buy Mobile Phone Insurance?
The free or subsidised phone you purchased when you signed a twelve month contract with your Network or retailer, can cost up to £1000 to replace if lost stolen or damaged. You will only have paid a fraction of that cost because the Network will have discounted your handset in exchange for your signing either a 12 or 18 month contract.

With our mobile phone insurance policies you are comforted by the fact that, should you experience a problem, and your claim is successful, these high costs will be covered.

How did you obtain my details?
When you purchased your phone provided you have agreed to purchase the insurance option, your bank details are then included within the insurance scheme. In you are a UK permanent resident, you are covered for up to 30 days world-wide in any one year.
