How many items does my policy cover? Your policy is a multi-appliance policy and covers up to a maximum of five domestic appliances ie fridge, freezer these must be specified at the time of inception of the insurance policy
How will my premium be collected? Your premium is collected each month by direct debit.
When does my insurance cover commence? Your specified appliances are covered from the date of the confirmation letter sent to you by our Customer Care Team subject to you paying the monthly premium by direct debit.
Am I able to benefit from this insurance if I live outside the UK? Regretfully, the coverage is only available to those people who are permanently resident in the UK. If you reside in any other country such as the United States, we regret that we are not able to provide insurance. In you are a UK permanent resident, this policy provides you with up to 30 days world-wide cover in any one year.
What am I covered for? This policy covers you for Mechanical and Electrical Breakdown
Why shouldn’t I cover this under my household insurance? You have a dedicated insurance policy especially for domestic appliances ensuring rapid repair of your appliance once your claim has been accepted. Household policies often have a much higher excess and a claim for a domestic appliance will more than likely affect your no claims bonus.
How do I obtain a claim form? You should either contact us using the claim line number which is detailed on your policy document or you can telephone our Customer Care Centre on : 0844 576 2300
How long is my claim likely to take? We aim for you to get a call from an engineer within 2-4 hours of us receiving your claim to arrange a visit.
